A. De Lorenzi

Antonio De Lorenzi received the master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Padova, Padua, Italy, in 1984, where he received the Post-Degree Diploma from the School of Plasma and Controlled Thermonuclear Engineering in 1987. He started his research activities in the field of power supplies for thermonuclear fusion plants, in particular, regarding the interaction with the EHV Grid and the pulsed power systems. Since 2010, his scientific activity moved to the physical and technological aspects of high voltage insulation in vacuum. From 2008 to 2013, he led the Electric and Magnetic Research Group of the Consorzio RFX. Mr. De Lorenzi is a member of the Permanent International Scientific Committee of the ISDEIV Symposia. He is also a member of the Executive Board National Italian of the Electro-Technical Committee (CEI) as representative of the Italian National Research Council (CNR), serving as a Vice-President.
