At inBiome, our main focus is currently performing a very large clinical validation of our new Molecular Culture technique. Molecular Culture is a catch-all rapid bacterial diagnostic assay that can detect any bacteria in clinical samples within hours on standard laboratory equipment. Now in the COVID crisis, we have also focused on the interplay between our resident microbiota and SARS-CoV-2 infection and have found evidence that throat microbiota may protect agains COVID19.
