Ana Gómez Oliva

Ana Gómez Oliva received the doctoral degree in computer science from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Madrid, Spain. She is a Professor with the Technical University of Madrid, Madrid. Since 1990, she has participated in several national and European research projects related to security in telematic networks in which she has addressed the implementation of security services, certificates, certification authorities, security infrastructure (PKIs), smart cards, and design of secure domains. She focused her work on the world of disability to take advantage of existing technological solutions to promote personal autonomy. From 2005 to 2013 and since 2015, she has led the research group Telematic Systems for the Information Society and Knowledge, aimed at the development of accessible, efficient, and secure new services for the Information Society. She has co-authored 1 academic book related to computer networks and over 25 publications in national and international congresses and seminaries related to the area.
