I am Professor in atmospheric dynamics working at the Geophysical Institute, University of Bergen and affiliated with the Bjerknes Centre for Climate Research My main two resarch interests are synoptic to large scale atmospheric dynamics and reseach connected to the water cycle. My work is mostly on understanding dynamical processes responsible for mid latitude extratropical cyclone and precipitation variability and how these processes may be affected by climate change.
