Dr. Uneri’s research focuses on advancing image-guided interventions and robotic surgery through the development of accurate image-based sensing, physics-informed machine learning, and precise robotic manipulation. Areas of interest include: model- and learning-based multidimensional image registration, hardware and software systems integration for image-guided interventions, and the incorporation of imaging and image guidance in surgical robotics.
