Aaron R. Parsons received the Ph.D. degree in astronomy from the University of California at Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, USA, in 2009. He is currently a Professor of astrophysics and the Director of the Radio Astronomy Laboratory, University of California at Berkeley. He is also the Principal Investigator of the Hydrogen Epoch of Reionization Array (HERA) telescope. Dr. Parsons received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers in 2019.
