Abhishek Somani

Abhishek Somani received the B.Tech. degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur, in 2001. He is currently working on the Ph.D. degree at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, IIT. His doctoral thesis is titled “New Methods in Optimization and Design Space Exploration of Analog Circuits.” He is currently working with Cadence Design Systems, Noida, India. His areas of interest include CAD for VLSI, analog circuits, and algorithm design. Mr. Somani has received the Jagadish Bose National Science Talent Search award and scholarship.
