Abolfazl Razi (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University, in 1998, the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Tehran Polytechnic, in 2001, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering, University of Maine, in 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor of computer science with Clemson University. He held two postdoctoral positions in the field of machine learning and predictive modeling at Duke University, from 2013 to 2014, and Case Western Reserve University, from 2014 to 2015. His current research interests include smart connected vehicles, driving safety analysis, wireless networking, the Internet of Things, and predictive modeling. He was a recipient of several competitive awards including the Best Research of MCI, in 2008, the Best Graduate Research Assistant of the Year Award from the College of Engineering, University of Maine, in 2011, and the Best Paper Award from the IEEE/CANEUS Fly By Wireless Workshop, in 2011.
