Adel Alaeddini received the Ph.D. degree in industrial and systems engineering from Wayne State University. He is currently an Associate Professor in mechanical engineering with The University of Texas at San Antonio. He also performed postdoctoral research with the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. His main research interests include statistical learning in systems modeling and control and data analytics in health care and manufacturing. He has contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed publications in journals, such as IISE Transactions, Production and Operations Management (POMS), and Information Sciences.
