Bio

Aleksi Räsänen received the Ph.D. degree in environmental science and technology from the University of Jyväskylä, Jyväskylä, Finland, in 2014. He is currently a Senior Scientist with the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke), Oulu, Finland. In his research, he has concentrated on remote sensing of vegetation in boreal and Arctic landscapes, and on research related to climate change adaptation and disaster risk management.
