Alessandro Prada was born in Trento. He received his Master Degree in Civil Engineering and his Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Trento. Currently he is assistant professor on building physics at the University of Trento. His research activity focuses on renewable energy and on numerical modeling of building thermal behavior. From 2012 to 2015, he was a research fellow at the Free University of Bozen/Bolzano. Since 2008 he has been member of the Technical Committee of the LEED Italy and member of AICARR (Italian Society of Air Conditioning Heating and Refrigeration). He is one of the founding members of IBPSA Italy. From 2011 to 2015 he was a member of the executive council of IBPSA Italy. Since 2011 he has been the energy expert in the municipal planning committee of Pergine Valsugana.
