Alessandro Sanginario

Alessandro Sanginario (Member, IEEE) received the M.Sc. degree in biomedical engineering and the Ph.D. degree in physics from Politecnico di Torino, Torino, Italy, in 2006 and 2010, respectively. In 2009, he was a Visiting Scholar with the University of South-Eastern Norway, Notodden, Norway. After the Ph.D., he was a Postdoc with Chilab Laboratory, Electronics Department, Politecnico di Torino, and, then, with the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Center for Space Human Robotics, until 2017. He is currently a Researcher with Micro and Nano Electronic Systems Laboratory, Politecnico di Torino and Researcher Technician with the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications, Politecnico di Torino. He has authored and coauthored two patents and more than 60 scientific publications in journals and conference proceedings related to electronics, biomedical engineering, and MEMS. His research interests include MEMS and advanced sensors, especially for biomedical applications, micro- and nano-system integration, and electronics.
