In addition, he has collaborated with the Research Institute “Orion” in the study of micromachined circuits for microwave and millimeter-wave applications. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the journal Semiconductors, Quantum Electronics and Optoelectronics. He is the author of more than 250 publications, including three books.,Prof. Belyaev is a member of the Physical Society of Ukraine (1992), The International Society for Optical Engineering (1993), The American Physical Society (1996), the Council of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine on the Problem “Physics of Semiconductors” (1985), the Scientific Council on Awarding of the Ph.D. degrees (1989), and the Scientific Council of the National Program “Nanotechnology” (2000).Since 2006, he has been a Fellow with the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
