Alexander L. Handwerger

Alexander L. Handwerger received the B.A. degree in earth sciences from Boston University, Boston, MA, USA, in 2008, and the Ph.D. degree in geological sciences from the University of Oregon, Eugene, OR, USA, in 2015. He is currently an Assistant Researcher at the Joint Institute for Regional Earth System Science and Engineering (JIFRESSE), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), CA, USA. JIFRESSE is a scientific collaboration between UCLA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, California Institute of Technology, to improve understanding and to develop future projections about global climate change and its effect on regional climates and environments. His research interests include landslides, rock glaciers, and satellite and airborne interferometric synthetic aperture radar.
