Bio
Alexander S. Antonarakis received the B.Sc. degree in geographic
sciences from Bristol University, Bristol, U.K., in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in geography from Cambridge University,
Cambridge, U.K., in 2009.
From 2008 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology,
Harvard University. Since 2013, he has been a Lecturer of geography with the University of Sussex, Brighton, U.K. He
has made extensive use of remote sensing in his work including lidar, radar, and multi and hyperspectral imagery. His
research interests include interface of terrestrial ecology, climate change, and flooding in relation to forest
ecosystems.
