Alexandre Magalhães is an assistant professor at the University of Porto, specializing in computational chemistry. He holds a Ph.D. in theoretical chemistry from the University of Porto and conducts cutting-edge research at the LAQV/REQUIMTE, a leading R&D laboratory dedicated to Sustainable Chemistry. His current research focuses on the exploration of novel carbon-based materials, with the objective of harnessing their catalytic potential for chemical reactions of both biological and industrial importance.
