Since early 1990'ies my research area has mainly been male reproductive health with emphasis on male reproductive hor­mo­nes and their role in gonadal develop­ment and function. My work in this area has also led me into the field of environmental endocrine disrupting chemicals and their possible impact on human reproductive health. I am laboratory leader of the hormone and chemistry laboratory at Dept. of Growth and Reproduction and have many years experience in hormone immunoassays. Since 2004 my research interests have also included human biomonitoring of non-per­si­s­tent en­viron­­mental chemicals matrices and their possible associations to human health.
