Amit Bhardwaj

Amit Bhardwaj received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering (ECE) from the YMCA University of Science and Technology, Faridabad, India, in 2009, the M.Eng. degree in ECE from the Delhi College of Engineering, Delhi, India, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), IIT Bombay, Mumbai, India, in 2016. From 2016 to 2017, he was a Research Associate with the EE Department, IIT Bombay. In 2017, he was an Alexander von Humboldt Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Chair of Media Technology, Technical University of Munich, Germany. Since 2018, he has been a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the Haptics and Virtual Reality Lab, Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea. He co-authored the book Kinesthetic Perception-A Machine Learning Approach (Springer). His current research interests are in the area of data-driven haptic modeling and rendering, haptic perception, haptic data communication, signal processing, and applications of machine learning.
