Amr Nassr received the B.Sc. degree in civil engineering from Assiut University, Egypt, in 2004, and the M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in structural engineering from McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada, in 2008 and 2012, respectively. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering, Universities of Canada in Egypt, and the Department of Civil Engineering, Assiut University. His research interests include structural health monitoring of structures and resiliency of critical infrastructures exposed to multiple hazards. He is also a member of many professional societies, including the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO) and the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers (CSCE). He is also a Former of NSERC, a fellow of JSPS, and a Holder of many awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Award in Science and Technology and International Excellence Award.
