An-Chi Wei

An-Chi Wei (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, USA, in 2013. She continued her postdoctoral training with the Division of Cardiology, Johns Hopkins University. She is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University, Taiwan. Her research interests include developing computational models and analytical tools to study mitochondrial biology, bioenergetics, and metabolism. She adopts a multidisciplinary method to understand how cells regulate energy production to match energy requirements for different activities and to study the roles played by mitochondria in communication and coordination between the various subsystems in the cell.
