In addition to my scientific and academic roles, I served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Applied Physics from 2014 to 2024, overseeing the editorial process and ensuring the journal’s quality and relevance. I have been actively involved in professional organizations such as the American Vacuum Society (AVS), American Physical Society (APS), Institute of Physics (IoP), IEEE, and the Society of Vacuum Coaters (SVC). I have been recognized as a Fellow by several of these organizations and have received multiple awards for my contributions.
Throughout my career, I have promoted collaboration and innovation in plasma physics and materials science, and I continue to emphasize the critical role of surface engineering in addressing scientific and technological challenges.
