Andreea Waltmann

I am a research scientist trained in molecular epidemiology and community-based research. In my PhD I worked in Solomon Islands to understand malaria transmission and evaluate and promote improved surveillance. I executed large field studies, in collaboration with the malaria program and a large international consortium. My technical expertise are molecular diagnostics and genetics. My continuing aims are to work in global health projects to improve health outcomes of vulnerable communities.
