Bio
The goal of our research group is to reveal the physiological importance of circulating bilirubin in vivo, in addition to developing novel therapeutics that mimic bilirubin's effects. Other diverse research interests include understanding the physiological response to various stressors (trauma, endurance and damaging exercise, apnoea, vascular injury), again with the aim of developing novel lead compounds/devices that resist injurious responses and promote beneficial adaptation.
