Angus Reid

I graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2013 with an honours degree in Molecular Biology before enrolling in a PhD programme later that year at the Roslin Institute. My PhD project focussed on characterising energy homeostasis in birds and how this has been affected by selection in commercial chickens. I now work on pigmentation genetics at the IGMM, studying the effects of genetic variants on hair and skin colour in humanised mice.
