I have a PhD under the Joint program between IIT Bombay and Monash University, Australia. My research was primarily focused on improving flood forecasting accuracy through the assimilation of satellite-derived flood extents. I specialize in digital image processing/remote sensing for flood inundation studies, hydrodynamic modelling, and hydraulic data assimilation. I am currently working at the University of Osnabrueck in Germany as a University Postdoctoral Research Assistant.
