Argelia is the James and Wanda Lee Vaughn Endowed Professor at the Department of Chemistry and Physics, Arkansas State University - Jonesboro. Argelia does research in Plant Biotechnology, Plant Metabolic Engineering and High Throughput Plant Phenotyping (aka. phenomics). Among her current projects are 1) Study of the regulation of ascorbate metabolism in plants and 2) Development of strategies to characterize the genome by environment by management interactions using phenomic approaches.
