I have done my PhD on the topic " Role of stress/strain in tailoring the magnetic and transport properties of magnetic thin films and multilayers". This includes the study of polycrystalline magnetic thin films, the effect of internal/external stress, normal or oblique angle deposition (OAD) studies to enhance the magnetic anisotropy of the thin films/multilayer. Finally, I have studied organic spin valve structure to reduce penetration of top FM layer inside organic layer and found good results
