Ashish Ranjan received the B.Tech. degree in electronics engineering from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, Varanasi, India, in 2009, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Purdue University, West Lafayette, IN, USA, in 2018. He is currently a Research Staff Member with the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, Yorktown Heights, NY, USA. His prior industry experience includes three years as a Senior Member Technical Staff with the Design Creation Division, Mentor Graphics Corporation, Noida, India. His primary research interests include domain-specific accelerators, circuit-architecture co-design for emerging technologies, and approximate computing. Dr. Ranjan received the University Gold Medal from IIT (BHU) Varanasi in 2009 and the Andrews Fellowship from Purdue University in 2012.
