Ahmed B. Ashraf received the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan, in 2000, and the master’s and Ph.D. degrees in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2006 and 2010 respectively. From 2010 to 2013, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Section of Biomedical Image Analysis, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA, USA. From 2013 to 2018, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, University Health Network, Toronto, ON, Canada. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, MB, Canada. His research interests include machine learning, biomedical imaging, and computer vision.
