Avinash Bajaj is a trained Chemical Biologist with his PhD training from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He then moved to University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He worked with Prof. Vincent Rotello,in bionanotechnology. He returned to India in August 2013 and joined as Assistant Professor Regional Centre for Biotechnology, newly established institute by Department of Biotechnology, Govt. of India. His lab in involved in unraveling the chemical-biology approaches to address the problems in Cancer and other diseases using inter-disciplinary approaches of Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Molecular Biology and Pharmacology.
