Balint Dima currently works at the Department of Plant Anatomy, Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest, Hungary as assosiate professor. He does research in Mycology, in more specific Taxonomy, Systematics and Phylogeny of various genera of macrofungi in Basidiomycota. One of his current project is 'Towards a phylogenetically based taxonomy of European Entoloma.', but he also study the genus Cortinarius.
