Bio

Bao-Jie Chen (Member, IEEE) was born in Liaoning, China, in 1984. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees in material science from Dalian Polytechnic University, Dalian, China, in 2007 and 2010, respectively, and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2014. He is currently an Engineer with the State Key Laboratory of Terahertz and Millimeter Waves in City University of Hong Kong. His current research interests include rare-earth-doped materials, optical amplifiers, and development of terahertz devices and components.
