Beijia Zhang

Beijia Zhang (S'06) received the S.B., M.Eng., and Ph.D. degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge. Her thesis focused on optimization, inversion, magneto-quasi-static instruments, and modeling of magnetic soil with applications toward unexploded ordnance research. She is currently with the Lincoln Laboratory, MIT, Lexington, where she had been a cooperative student during her undergraduate and graduate studies, was a Technical Staff Member following her graduation, has conducted research and development in the detection of underground targets and contributed to various intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance strategic planning studies, and is currently involved in miniaturized sensor development for unmanned aircraft system platforms.
