I am broadly interested in computational strategies that naturally support how specialists reason about their data – motivated by cognitive engineering. Currently, elbows-deep in incidence relations and information theoretic measures of dependence. Work that is motivated by systems biology and translational bioinformatics questions, where network biology joins "incidence" biology in helping understand experimental observations. Oh, and I occasionally ponder recommender systems.
