Bertrand Mallet

My research interests focuse on the evolutionary and ecological processes that generate and maintain biological diversity, particularly in island systems. My PhD project deals with these issues for a species complex in radiation on a small oceanic island. Particularly, I aim to study the factors influencing population divergence at a fine scale in an orchid species complex (Jumellea spp.). My research makes use of pollination ecology and population genetics.
