Bin Luo

Bin Luo (Student Member, IEEE) received the master’s degree in sustainable systems engineering from the University of Freiburg, Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, in 2020, with a background in material science and solar energy. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree with the Group of Wafer PV Technology, Interuniversity Microelectronics Centre (imec), Leuven, Belgium. Currently, his doctoral research mainly focuses on the photovoltaic (PV) module development for next-generation vehicle-integrated photovoltaics (VIPV) applications, including using c-Si and Si/Perovskite tandem devices with novel interconnection technology. His research interests lie in the development of emerging PV devices and module technologies for integrated PV applications.
