Dr. Bartholmai is an innovator and leader in Thoracic Radiology, Radiology Informatics and Quantitative Imaging of thoracic disease. He is the chair of the Division of Radiology Informatics at Mayo Clinic and is active in clinical practice, research, education and innovation with specific interests and expertise in:
Radiology and Clinical Informatics
Quantitative Imaging/Imaging Analytics, with focus on diffuse lung disease and pulmonary nodules
Machine learning and automatic stratification techniques applied to medical imaging
Computer-Aided Detection, Decision support and Diagnosis
