Chérif Dridi received the Ph.D. and Habilitation HDR degrees in physics from the University of Tunis, Tunisia. After 14 years with the ISSAT, Sousse, where he founded the GREENS Team, as an Assistant Teacher of Physics, he arrived at the Center of Research on Microelectronics and Nanotechnology (CRMN), Sousse, as an Associate Professor. Since January 2016, he has been a Full Professor of Physics-Nanotechnology and the Head of the NANOMISENE (NANOmaterials and MIcorsystems for Health, ENvironment and Energy) Laboratory, CRMN, Technopôle of Sousse. His research interests include development of nanomaterials and devices for health care, environment, agriculture and food safety as well as energy saving, harvesting and storage. He was a Principal Investigator/Expert Researcher in several international projects (PHC Utique with France, NATO Linkage and SFP, and FP7). He together with his research group and collaborators, has published/presented over 125 peer-reviewed journal publications/communications, in the above-mentioned scientific research areas. He has been invited in different universities and given invited talks at several conferences.
