Christopher Walter Thomas

I have had a career in geology, geomorphology and geochemistry. I worked with the British Geological Survey (BGS) until 2016, mainly as a field survey geologist and geochemist, but latterly I used numerical models to explore the evolution of soft-sediment coastline morphologies under different wave climates, and explored suspended sediment sources and fluxes in rivers. I am now an Honorary Research Associate with the BGS, and a Trustee of the Forth Rivers Trust, Scotland.
