Dr. Tim Wang is an Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, pioneering clinical neuroimaging innovations for neurodegenerative diseases such as multiple sclerosis (MS) and dementia. With a background in electronics engineering and neuroscience/neuroimaging, he has established himself as a leader in the development and translation of clinical imaging solutions.

He is the Multiple Sclerosis Australia Fellow and the inaugural Nerve Research Foundation Fellow, leading cutting-edge research at the intersection of AI, neuroimaging, and precision medicine at the University of Sydney's Brain and Mind Centre. Since 2017, he has operationalised over $10 million in government-funded industry-research grants, driving advancements that have led to real-world efficiency gains for clinicians, improved diagnostics and disease monitoring for patients, and novel insights into the pathophysiology of brain diseases.
