Celia S Chen

Celia S. Chen received the medical degree from the University of Adelaide, and the master’s degree in public health and the Ph.D. degree from Flinders University. She underwent an Ophthalmology Training in South Australia and proceeded to a clinical and research fellowship in neuro-ophthalmology with the Wilmer Eye Institute, Johns Hopkins Hospital. She returned to Adelaide, in 2007, following her fellowship. She is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with the Flinders Medical Centre, Department of Ophthalmology, Flinders University. Her current research interest includes the retinovascular disorders of the eye. She was a recipient of both national and international scholarships and awards, including the American Australian Education Fellowship, NHMRC National Institute of Clinical Studies Fellowship, and the South Australian Science Excellence Award.
