His research focuses on psychological interventions for people with psychosis, particularly targeting cognition, social cognition and negative symptoms. This interest expands to the area of early intervention and includes the systematic evaluation of interventions and the assessment of moderators and mediators to improve treatment personalisation.
Matteo’s research also evaluates the use of digital technologies including wearables devices, mobile phones and virtual reality to improve assessment and interventions for mental health conditions.
