Yang CHEN(陈仰)

Yang Chen (Chengdu University) studied at Nankai University, where he completed his Ph.D in organic chemistry (supervised by Professor Chunming Cui) in 2011. He subsequently joined in the pharmaceutical companies. From 2011–2016, he held various positions at Chengdu Diao Pharmaceuticals and Chengdu HitGen Ltd. In May 2016, he moved to the Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics, Chengdu University, where he is currently an associate Professor of organic and medicinal chemistry. Yang Chen and his group are interested in the development of new areas of catalysis, synthetic methods and medicinal chemistry. His group focus on design, synthesis of novel antibiotic and antitumor compounds with biological activities.
