Chin W Yong

Member of Senior Research Scientist and software developer of the Computational Chemistry Group at Daresbury Laboratory. He has extensive research experience in a wide-range of molecular modelling fields including polymers, particle bombardment, nano-surface contacts [1], mineral surface interactions and biological simulations [2], using a variety of techniques such as the molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo and ab-initio electronic calculations. He is also the developer of DL_FIELD [3], a powerful model conversion and editing tool that allows implementation of force fields for a wide range of organic and inorganic molecular systems.
