I am passionate about materials science education and research - at the boarder between physics, chemistry and engineering. I am driven by scientific curiosity for a fundamental understanding of materials and processes and I believe that ground-breaking science can and should address great societal changes. Currently, my research focuses on the solid/liquid interface, in particular for electrocatalysts that enable energy conversion and sustainable synthesis of chemicals and chemical fuels.
