Christopher Chase received the B.E.E. degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Minneapolis, MN, USA, in electrical engineering in 2005 and the Ph.D. degree from U.C. Berkeley in electrical engineering in 2011. He is currently working on tunable long wavelength VCSELs at Bandwidth10, Inc., San Jose, CA, USA. He investigated high contrast grating integration in tunable and long wavelength VCSELs in his dissertation research.
