Christopher J. Still received the B.S. degree in biochemistry from Colorado State University and the Ph.D. degree in biological sciences from Stanford University, Stanford, CA. Following postdoctoral research at UC Berkeley and the National Center for Atmospheric Research, he joined the Department of Geography, University of California, Santa Barbara. His primary research interests are in plant biogeography and ecophysiology, ecosystem ecology, and earth system science.
