Chui Ping Ooi

Chui Ping Ooi (Member, IEEE) received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Cambridge, U.K. She is the Head of Program and an Associate Professor in biomedical engineering with the School of Science and Technology, Singapore University of Social Sciences. Her research interests include artificial intelligence in healthcare and biomedical applications and biomaterials engineering. She has authored/coauthored over 70 publications in international refereed journals and conference proceedings. She is the President of the Institute of Materials (East Asia) and the Student Chapter Advisory Board for the Singapore Biomedical Engineering Society.
