David Scott-Coombes

David Scott-Coombes is a consultant endocrine surgeon at the University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. He is President-elect of the European Society of Endocrine and past-president of the British Association of Endocrine and Thyroid Surgeons. He is a member and past-Chairman of the European Board of Surgery Examination for Endocrine Surgery. For five years he was the Director of Audit for the BAETS and helped to establish a web-based national audit of endocrine surgery. He has published on most aspects of endocrine surgery and written chapters in leading undergraduate and postgraduate textbooks.
