David A. Edge

David A. Edge currently works for the Brenton Blue Trust and the Lepidopterists' Society of Africa. David does research on the ecology of endangered butterflies, taxonomy of African butterflies and conservation biology of endangered butterflies. Current projects are: 1) Phylogeny of the Lepidochrysops and Orachrysops genera of the Lycaenidae. 2) Life histories of taxa in the above genera and also Aloeides and Thestor from the lycaenid family. 3) Developing management techniques for the habitats of endangered butterflies.
